'Love and Happiness' by Ben Burgess Jr is full of drama, betrayal and romance. Sometimes what is on the surface in not the truth and sometimes secrets are keep in broad daylight. But eventually the house of card will fall. I liked how the story developed and though sometimes the mains characters, Chris and Karen, frustrated me by not communicating better, it made for a more realistic story. Karens effect on me as a reader was heavy but not in an arrogant way but rather a bossy, pain in the ass kind of way. She acted so spoil and stuck up, sometimes I felt like punching her. I felt for Chris as he is a good man trying to do the right thing. The author's writing style is smooth, and characters are real. Believe me, I know some of these people :D
